The term outdoor knives covers a wide range of working patterns for hunting, fishing, and camping and is the most varied category of knives that I make because each person has his or her idea of what makes the ideal knife for their needs. Please keep this in mind as you look through the available patterns because I can usually adapt a knife for your exact needs.

 Stainless steel bolsters & guards are encouraged especially in high humidity areas as there is virtually no maintenance required.  George uses 416L a perfect colour match for the 440C blade. It is also harder than brass and does not scuff as easily. Brass  gives a warmer look and is more traditional but requires constant polishing to look it's best.

Our standard wood handles are Cocobolo, Macassa Ebony & Pau Ferro.
They are all high resign woods and make excellent handle material.  We only use high 
resign woods as they do not expand and contract as much as local North American
woods that will split over time.
